Emily Perkins/Brigitte has a small but very funny part in Juno. I saw that movie a few days back and I was wondering did anyone see the movie too? I like the way Emily looks in the movie, I think it's kinda what Brigitte could look like if she was a bit older like in a 4th Gs movie...

Didn't she wear the same ring in the movie like she did in the series?

Yes, Emily wore the same rings in 'Juno' as she did in 'Ginger Snaps'. She also wears them in 'Blood: A Butcher's Tale' as well as her bird skull necklace.

Wow I didn't know that... Thatt's cool, did she get to keep it after the GS movies?

It would appear so, yes. I know actors often get to keep wardrobe items and Emily even mentioned in an interview that she still sometimes wears the 'Brigitte' clothes to feel connected to the character.

She's really commited. Seems really cool to me that you get to keep it after the movie ends...

Yeah. Her characters are who they are because of her, it's only right that she keep some things of theirs. I can just picture her wearing B's skirt or something around the house, seeing herself in the mirror, and being unable to keep from smiling that cute smile of hers remembering Brigitte and how cool she was.

Is the movie overall good? That is subjective, now isn't it? lol I thought the movie was okay, nothing special. I bought it because of Emily and so, to me, it was worth it. Em was pretty cool in her 15 seconds or so. There is a pretty great speech by Juno's father near the end too. In the commentary, neither the director, nor the writer could remember Emily's name though! Poor Em.

On the subject of character clothing, Emily told me that she also kept Brigitte's boots and wore them in Blood: A Butcher's Tale. Just for anyone keeping score. lol

Blood: A Butcher's Tale looks interesting. They style of it gave me a distinct Delicatessen/Repo The Genetic Opera fusion feel.

Yes, but this film has been in the works for a while. It was shot in early 2007 in fact. It has yet to come out, however, and at this point, I'm not holding my breath. I still hope to see it, but I think it's dead in the water, unfortunately.
At the risk of objectifying someone for whom I really do respect and admire tremendously, I have to say that Emily makes the hottest goth I have ever seen!

I couldn't say. I'm asexual. ( I don't mean I reproduce with myself, I just don't get turned on by anyone)
But I do hope the movie is good.

Uhm... Should I feel pity on you?
I choose not to. It stings too much.

So you don't find sexual arousal from anyone, but can you still recognize physical beauty in any way? Do you see people as physically attractive and unattractive at all? Just curious.
I think Emily is the most beautiful person in the world, but only part of that is her being "sexy", you know what I mean? I've always been one to get more "turned on" by someones inside, rather than the outside (you know what I mean, no jokes. lol) Emily of course has both kinds of beauty in abundance... Okay, I'll stop carrying on like a love-struck schoolboy now.

It's a little hard to describe. It's like when you find a really nice looking rock. You know it looks better than the average rock, but your not going to get aroused by it just because you think it looks better than the rest. I think that makes sense.
