Just try to imagine, all this started in the basement of a little suburb in Canada.
I don't have much more to say about Ginger Snaps. I feel like I've said all I can as a fan, genre enthusiast, film lover, and reviewer. I've been a fan for a while now and played a part in trying to revive the fandom, something I never thought would happen to the extent that it did. I can honestly say seeing Ginger Snap's fandom grow from the stalemate it was stuck in during the 2010s, to a TV show getting announced just last year is one of the most amazing thing's I've ever been privileged to see as a horror fan. Still, all good things must come to an end. While I'll always be a snapper at heart, I'm not as active as I once was in the community and I can't exactly see that changing. I have said everything I wanted to say and I ( along with all the fans who have stuck with the franchise for so long, including the new fans) have accomplished my goal, put Ginger Snaps back on the map and solidify it's reputation for the future of Horror Fiction and Popular Culture. I've met some great people, made many fun memories and brought joy to other people's lives. That's good enough for me. I may be winding down as a Ginger Snaps fanatic but it's legacy is immortal, that's something that has been proven to all of us. People, conventions, websites, and movie screenings, may come and go, but Bridgette and Ginger are forever.
