I'm in the midst of moving now and have a lot of purchases and changes to make. It's going to take up a lot of time until July.
My writing has taken off. I know it doesn't look like that from the way I haven't posted more on fanfiction.net. It's just that I had other writers look at the first few chapters of GSTFB and they had some marvelous suggestions. So, I started on the 3rd draft before I finished the second. I'm back doing the second draft now, but that's going to be delayed until I have an apartment.
Besides the rewritten first chapter, I decided not to post the other 3rd draft chapters I did. They converge to much from the 2nd draft. So, I'll put the 3rd chapter up all at once when it's done.
I also wrote a short horror story, non-GS, just to show myself I have a writing career outside of GS. And I've also written poetry.
And at night I've been catching up with all the TV shows/movies I missed these last few years.
Anyway, that's what's been going on in my life. So far, no relapses. Writing appears to keep me stable.
May the Curse be with you.

Yes, the sequel, where have I been?
I'm in the midst of a family crisis and I'm still looking for an apartment. I found the perfect one today, but at the end there was a deal-breaker.
"Do you allow pets?"
"No."
I hope to get back to daily writing soon. Real life is stressing me out.

I'm afraid I've had family tragedy. My mother died last week after being hospitalized for the three weeks prior. All other things have been on hold.

I'm done moving now. I'm not totally settled, but I will be in the next few weeks. All the stuff that delayed me and kept me away from finishing the fanfic are done. My writing time, though, is still divided up. I'm tempted to take time off other projects to finish up the fanfic.
Sheesh, I don't believe we only get posts every ten days now! Yes, I know it's only one great movie, but I hope the idea stays alive. In fact, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction if I weren't trying to revive it.
Ginger, Brigitte and Sam forever!

I certainly do wish, of course, that the site had more activity now. GS is a great movie. Ginger and Brigitte are marvelous characters. But if it's the end of its popularity . . . there's no helping that.
Right now, I'm finishing the hybrid fan fiction novel, Ginger Snaps: The Feral Bond. I'm very close, on chapter 31, and I've learned how to write leaner, so the story is finishing faster than I thought. I'm trying to revive the story and give it a new lease on life.
I now have an ideal space from which to write and have nothing but time to do so.
I so much wish I would have seen this movie when it came out in 2001. I wasted 9 years.

The bad thing about finished series is that sooner or later people stop paying attention to them. At the moment a lot of discussion-boards I know of are slowly dying, no matter if it's horror related in general, about a certain (still going) horror game series, etc.
Guess it's hard to get new fans into a fandom that is already a few years old.
Also I'm sorry about your loss, but I can sort of... well understand what it must feel like. My mother died about 7 months ago.

Hey lh xD hows it goin c: just steped in to say hi Its been a while since i'v been here Hope everything is well lh Good to "see" you too, Grim, in the text sense of the word. How have you been? I now have my own place, a nice, small quiet, clean apartment in a historical neighborhood similar to the French Quarter in New Orleans. I've been enjoying writing. I get up and write every day now, I consider it my job. I have a writers' group that meets weekly and we read our work to each other and critique. They have really helped. I've submitted a non-Ginger Snaps horror story to a paying short-story website and I'm waiting for their answer. As you know, the draft of my hybrid fan fiction novel, Ginger Snaps: The Feral Bond is up on fanfiction.net. What you don't know is, it's just about finished. I'm on chapter 31. It looks like the story will be finished on chapter 34, not chapter 37 as I thought. I'm just writing a lot leaner. I've been writing 3rd and final draft of it for the writers' group. It's running much shorter. When I'm done, I'll replace it all at once on the fan fiction website. I also plan to put both drafts up on Google docs, with the 2nd draft going up any day now. This will be the last writing I'll do for free. I plan to be completely pro when I'm done. To sum up, things have been wick-ed. Nevertheless, there was also a tragedy. My mother died in late June.
