How much did Ginger's looks contribute to her sense of separation?
A redheaded girl as a child, she might have been seen as ugly, to all but Brigitte. Who probably thought she was remarkably pretty. Of course, when she reaches adolescence, red hair is suddenly attractive. It's why she's so surprised when Jason checks her out, and asks her out. Brigitte probably doesn't like the fact that everyone seems to finally notice her sister is beautiful. I think prior, Brigitte probably thought of it as her secret!
I think this says a lot about Brigitte's awe with Ginger as a child: Ginger used to make her eat worms to play in the doll house with her! Was it, like, Ginger would have played alone if she hadn't? If so, I see Ginger as a pretty solitary child, but she had the ego to actually make Brigitte go through an initiation for the honor of playing with her!
