Say Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning was just a movie on it's own and there were no other Ginger Snaps movies, would you still have liked this movie as much?
I'm not sure if I would or not. Because it's my least favourite out of the 3 and probably isn't in my top 20 favourite movies. But I still like it. If it was an individual it may have been a good movie that I have seen but there's been nothing that outstanding about it. Still, I'm sure I would have liked it.

In fact the only one I really liked was the original GS, (the only one Karen Walton was involved in, no coincidence), and I'm only here because I loved that movie a lot. However, Unleashed some very good qualities. It had a mind-blowing plot concept, had great moments, and had a hands-down great performance by Emily who carried the whole first half of the movie. And at the beginning it had some very taut direction and editing and good use of music. But I kind of consider GS3 to be almost a total loss. The only thing it had going for was a pretty good plot concept, although one that was only obliquely related to the original. And unlike the other two, the music sucked. I think it actually might have worked better if the original hadn't been made. I think the idea of an isolated fort surrounded by werewolves should have been done on its own, with a better budget and more effort.

Yes, I think they could have done more with it. With the whole historical thing and added a bit more hsitory into it, or is that just me being a history nerd...

Yeah thtat's true.
And lolz, no Sophie, I agree! They should have done more with the history. But I did like the ending, only because I didn't suspect it. I thought Ging was gonna die just like in GS.

I'll correct myself and say, I did like the ending of GS3, and I'm not being sarcastic there saying "I was glad when it was over." I liked how the sisters defied the prophecy, and how it seems that whatever fate or God thought itself to be in control of their destiny was somewhat self-deceived. It did elevate Ginger and Brigitte to being eternal rebels, and actually gave the movie a real theme about predestiny. It worked on so many levels.
