So we all know how much the sisters hated Bailey Downs, but what's your town like? Does it resemble Bailey Downs in any way? Do you hate it as much as the sisters?
(P.S Writing this because there hasn't been much discussion on Ol' Bailey Downs!)

I have mixed feelings about my town.
It has changed a lot since I have been here, going from industrial and blue collar to essentially squeaky clean and upscale-- the parts that are left, that is, because it has lost about half its population. I remember the railroad tracks being dug out, the factories being torn down, and the strip malls being put in.
As a child, I used to visit my grandparents. To say the neighborhood there was poor would not describe it. It was desolate. Almost all the homes were abandoned. These were not small houses, either, in the 19th to early 20th century, these were mansions, huge brick structures, but all the richer people moved to the suburbs, and the poor people who bought them afterward had moved out there, too. So, these were huge, hulking wrecks of buildings. The house across the alley was missing its back wall; it was like a brick mountain frozen in mid-avalanche, and it was like that for years.
Imagine playing in a backyard surrounded by these wrecks as far as the eye could see, with every other backyard around you under seven feet of weeds. Only the house next door seemed to be occupied. There was always a mysterious light in it. Of course, I know know there were people squatting there, at least as far as getting their fixes.
My grandparent's house was creepy in its own right. You could feel the age of it, the lighting was poor, and the steps, especially the ones in back from the upstairs to the downstairs porch were fantastically steep, and my parents, aunts and uncles had nightmares about their children falling down them.
Digressed, but I guess that neighborhood gave me my sense of horror, as well as my sense of wonder.
I guess my town isn't bad. I don't mind it physically, but I don't like the people here. I wish I lived in Canada. Toronto or Vancouver sound really good to me. Seems to me that with global warming coming, Canada will be the place to be. And of course, since so many people in my neck of the woods don't believe global warming is real, that makes me want to emigrate to Canada even more!

I enjoy my little um... Village? That I live in. Aside from the fact that half the town for no reason what-so-ever hates me. We are like the Shire in LoTR, not much happens but we live out lives to the fullest. Hey nothing interesting happens in a small Canadian town with a population of around 500 people. (by the way lordhowl Canada is awsome you would enjoy it) I have to say the most news worthy thing that has happened here in a decade or two is a women who tryed to off herself a few weeks ago and then ended up getting into a car crash with a school bus a few days back. (OT [off topic] time! Thinking about the place you live SUCKS when your trying it at 4:44 in the morning while pulling an all-nighter and when your at your cousin's house several miles away after a horror movie night. [meaning paranormal activity, and the blare-however-you-spell-it witch project, and we tryed too watch "the forth kind" but no that disk was being stupid tonight!] And sadly no Ginger Snaps... That sucks too because that is all that has occupided my brain after reading the first 24 chapters of The Feral Bond! [p.s. howl your a great writer.] And back on the off topic being in total darkness causes me to hallucanate so ya no sleep after horror night!)
edit: I've also been frickin freezin for the last 3 hours for some un-godly reason! (OT time. I do for your information say "eh" alot. But I actually use it as a substitute for "hi" or "right" [in the form of "that party was awsome last night... You were there "right"?] yes bad example but it was all I could think of at 5 in the frickin morning!)

I'm glad you love the story, and I hope I to complete it soon, but carefully. I think I've built up a very good story so far. It doesn't have that much more to go. Things get far worse for the characters. I wish I could even visit Canada. Maybe after I become published writer with some stories set there, they'll allow me visitors visa. And . . . if it's not too much, please mention "The Feral Bond" to some people who might like horror stories, or of course, friends who like Ginger Snaps.

Canada is boring guys hahah. My town reminds me a lot of Bailey Downs. That was describing a Canadian suburb. Ginger Snaps wouldn't have been like that if its setting couldn't be recognized by Canadian suburbanites.

Mine is basically crap and the sticks, (yes I know what an awful way to describe a town) which is the truth cause businesses are going out while some shut down way before the pandemic started. The town I lived before was Albuquerque cause it had tons of beautiful lights when it's night time, and there are cool places to visit such as the botanical gardens since my favorite is cherry blossoms. I miss going there but I visit there when I can depending on what we need.
