Does anyone else think that in the greenhouse scene Ginger was sort of showing off for Sam? The way she was all arrogant and stuff, I know a lot of girls who act like that because they think guys like it First, it's clear she's attracted him. Big surprise, there would have been few girls at that school who weren't, and she's clearly also jealous of Brigitte about him. Ginger was trying to sabotage whatever was going on between Brigitte and Sam, and if that meant making a pass at Sam, she would have done it, but he was having none of it. That being said, I think she was so arrogant in that scene not to show off or flirt. That's what a normal girl would have done, but Ginger is anything but normal then. I think Ginger acted so arrogantly because she knew then that she was the strongest, fastest thing in that room. Sam did not scare her in the least, and probably she knew for the first time what it was like not to feel over-matched by guys in strength. It must have felt liberating, and it had gone to her head. At the end of the scene, she's staring him down and is ready to fight. She had just enjoyed beating up Trina and wants something more challenging. Hardly flirtation. What becomes clear two scenes later is that neither Brigitte nor Sam knew how much danger he was in.
