Now, this is something that was on my mind. This line at the dinner table, "I wish these were baby's legs."
Given how Brigitte looks at Ginger, I expect that this is not the kind of thing Ginger would say before. I also think Ginger isn't saying this, at least consciously, because she's thinking like a werewolf yet, or wants blood. She has just faced the fact that she's now fertile. She has to wrap her mind around the possibility of pregnancy and birth, which of course, would be on her mind "for forty years."
Am I right? I think when I was at the age when the girls around me started to menstruate, I was shocked to hear so many ill wishes toward babies and so many dead baby jokes.

I think she's just mocking Brigettes theory about her turning into a werewolf. And then 'wishing they were babies legs' could probably have something to do with what you said.

So, I didn't think it would be such a topic to them just then. What's so fucked up about it is, Brigitte saw a picture of the creature. Ginger did not. Brigitte also lost the picture next to Sam's van. So, she knew something Ginger did not. How different might it have gone if she hadn't lost that picture? It might have gained Ginger three whole weeks. Then again, I actually think the illness would not have let Ginger be very cooperative anyway, and she might have somehow denied it even with the picture.

First of all I think Ginger is still angry with Brigitte, because of the conversation with the nurse before, where she asked that "hairy question" and Ging kicked her. Why she picked the baby legs and not frog legs or something can maybe be explained with her menstruation and the growing up. (Although I can't remember anything like lordhowl mentioned in his first post, with us girls talking about getting pregnant and dead babies...)
Yeah, B was really sure about that thing being a lycanthrope from the very beginning, especially when she saw that picture. I mean, even if Ginger had seen this picture, she wouldn't believe her sister. Maybe she would say, that this is a weird dog or something like that

i dont think that 3 extra weeks would had done much to find the cure since there is none >.< though ginger might had taken it more serious if she had seen the actual picture. i had never really thought about that till no... intresting i remember someone told me they wanted baby legs. now i think they might have been a GS fan atleast i hope so O:

They would have had three more weeks to find out about monkshood and find out it was sold at craft stores. They wouldn't have had to try it on Ginger after she was going out of control and couldn't be reasoned with. Or, they might have have discovered colloidal silver and tried that. Funny, I actually heard a girl say that BEFORE Ginger Snaps was ever made. She was rather emphatic in other conversations that she never wanted to have kids.

yeah 3 extra weeks but no actual cure.. pluz i think that if ginger knew that she was turning she would try to hide from society in general and odds are that they wouldt had met sam wich means they wouldnt know about monks hood or how to use it.
yeah my cousin dosent want kids >.< but hjey its a personal decition right so its cool

Well, considering in the GS universe the second thing they tried (monkshood) was at least a palliative, and considering that Brigitte could do research herself, I still think the outcome would have been different-- but maybe not a total cure. Maybe it would have resulted in Ginger taking monkshood for two years before getting a tolerance to it and changing . . . yeah my cousin dosent want kids >.< but hjey its a personal decition right so its cool Well, if she's 15 or under, of course the idea is going to be disturbing if she thinks about it at all. If so, she may change her mind.

Maybe it would have resulted in Ginger taking monkshood for two years before getting a tolerance to it and changing . . . Yeah, maybe sometime Brigitte would have found out about the monkshood, too. But still Sam was a big help to them, due to he knew how to prepare and use it. At least he was the one, who came up with the syringe. I think that it was important, when they were infected. I mean, B cured Jason with just one injection. So I think he wasn't that far in turning. Ginger was fully turned, nobody (will ever know ) if it had helped her at all, when B would have given her the injection in the last scene. And in GS2 Brigitte also needs more than just one injection, she is kinda addicted, cause she didn't wanna change. So she also must be at a advanced phase in turning. Her wounds healed faster before they took her away the monkshood, so yeah, it's possible, that the injections just delay the transformation and in a few years/month she would have been a fully turned lycanthrope.
