I don't think that Ginger was forcing Brigitte to drink Sam's blood. I think Brigitte did it to try and "fit in" with her sister so that she would kill her. I think Brigitte drank Sam's blood to save him from getting killed by Ginger. She wanted to let her know she was with her, so she hadn't had to kill Sam ... but Ginger did . Huh, that sounded so ridiculously logical.. Yup, that's probably it

The look on her face when she reaches Sam is hardly human. There's really no pity in her eyes then. I think the werewolf virus had her mind for those moments, and she had buckled under the stress. She wanted to join Ginger (and maybe Sam) at that point, but her mind came back and she took her stand. I don't think that Ginger was forcing Brigitte to drink Sam's blood. I think Brigitte did it to try and "fit in" with her sister so that she would kill her.

But Ginger could just as easily swamp Brigitte down in the basement too... But she did not. It more or less looked like they communicated somehow.. Yes, and that was because Brigitte renewed the oath by exchanging infected blood. Ginger definitely still recognized Brigitte. My conjecture is that Ginger was trying to form a cohort with her . . . and Sam, who after all was alive and would have become werewolf too. But once Brigitte regained herself, she wouldn't have it. But I don't think she counted on Ginger then killing Sam.

What do you guys think Brigitte\'s wolf form is like? Like, do you think she has \"some\" control? At least before the first change, it's clear that they have no control. What happens after that first transformation? Apparently, the victim's personality is permanently altered, but there is subtle evidence in the movie that the werewolf eventually gains some control over its form. I mean, look at the dog killings. Was the Beast of Bailey Downs really always in wolf form? If so, they would have caught it. Look at Baxter in particular. I think whatever killed him had to be in human form at the beginning, and in partial werewolf form when it mangled him. I mean, somehow it had to get by the fence, get by the gate on Baxter's kennel, and without anybody hearing it, kill Baxter. And the very fact that that werewolf was going after dogs and not people, says something. It was only on the full-moon that it had no control over what it hunted and killed. I think Brigitte would have turned into a very terrible werewolf. She would have been cunning. She would have lost all her timidity, and with so much bitterness and anger in her over Ginger, she would have been bloodthirsty. I think

I think Brigitte would have turned into a very terrible werewolf. She would have been cunning. She would have lost all her timidity, and with so much bitterness and anger in her over Ginger, she would have been bloodthirsty. I agree with you. I somehow have the feeling that she would be an even more murderous beast than her sister. During the slow process of transformation she fought to keep her human side alive and every time she lost control it seemed more intense compared to Ginger. For example towards the end of Unleashed, when she confronted Ghost and punched a hole into the wall beside Ghosts head. I can't remember Ginger destroying something in a similiar situation, but that could just be my terrible capacity of remembering...

I can't remember Ginger destroying something in a similiar situation, but that could just be my terrible capacity of remembering... Actually, there was a deleted scene in GS where Ginger was tearing apart their room. There were also some things in the script I wish would have stayed. Originally, Ginger was supposed to run down the hall smashing the janitor against the lockers as she ran. But, yes, Brigitte punching the wall was intense. Even if I thought by that stage in Brigitte's transformation, the fist should have went right into Ghost's face. No way she should have been able to redirect her punch by that time. Emily Perkins performance was nothing but amazing. You could feel the fury in her, even when she refused to act on it. But I'm afraid I did not like Unleashed. You could tell, because I wrote my own story based on the premise. I think Brigitte showed just too much forbearance with people who would have driven a Quaker berserk. Brundle's law about fly was "There are no fly politicians . . . " I think for werewolves it goes, "There are no pacifist werewolves." The trauma from losing Ginger, and the bitter, long struggle that she had came across in Unleashed.

I think that at first, Brigitte, after transforming, had some a human conscience. She's too strong of a character to let go of her humanity (at least mentally). But remember, she's Ghost's prisoner, and Ghost made her do all kinds of awful deeds. After many years I think Brigitte began to let her mind slip away, but that doesn't mean it's completely gone. Say Ginger, or perhaps Sam, somehow saved her I think Brigitte would have regained most of her sanity. The problem is... Ginger and Sam are dead.
